On stage with Lee Roy & Friends at The Hardrock
Lari & Chuck were featured perfomers along with J.D. Souther at Spetember's "Lee Roy & Friends," Lee Roy Parnell's monthly shin-dig at Nashville's Hard Rock Cafe.
The September show featured Parnell and his band as they tore through his chart topping hits such as "On the Road," "Love Without Mercy," and "Holdin My Own." During the second set, he brought up the musical guests for the evening, Chuck Cannon, JD Souther and Lari White, captivating the crowd with the incredible dynamic. According to Parnell, "Chuck Cannon is as deep as they get, Lari White has more soul than any songwriter I know, and JD Souther, the legend behind all those great Eagles hits...well, he's my songwriting hero. It's my honor to have them as musical guests."
As if this lineup wasn't enough, blues masters Delbert McClinton and Keb' Mo', who were in the audience, joined the group on stage for several songs and left the crowd mesmerized by a night of incredible music, counting the days until the next "Lee Roy and Friends" show which is scheduled for 10/19 with special guest David Lee Murphy and others.
