Lari has been a member of the YMCA of Middle TN since she was a struggling songwriter benefiting from a YMCA scholarship to help her meet membership dues. She has maintained that membership, and is currently on the board of the downtown YMCA. In 2009 Lari became involved with the YMCA Youth Development Center setting a goal to raise $1,000,000 to build The Y Youth Center.

That goal has been met and the Center is Built! The next goal is establish an endowment which will support the YMCA Youth Development Center Programs going forward. You can help support this campaign by visiting one of Lari's monthly 'In the Round' performances at the Bluebird Cafe or by donating directly to the campaign fund.
